 Special Vrat Idli

Ingredients

Samak rice flour-2 cup

Curd-2 tbsp

Fruit salt-1 tsp (optional)

Sendha (rock salt)-acc taste

Water- 1 cup

Green chili-1 no (chopped)

Curry leaves-5-6 leaves

Jeera-1 tsp

Ghee/refined oil-2 tsp

Method-  Take samak rice atta in a large bowl.Add salt and curd,mix well.Now add water and make smooth batter.Cover it and keep aside for 2-3 hours for fermentation.After that add fruit salt,mix well and put a spoon full of mixture in greased idli moulds and steam for 20 minutes.Remove  and cool idlis.Heat ghee in a  nonstick pan and add jeera ,green chili and curry leaves ,sauté for a minute.Add idlis and toss well.Serve with green chutney.
