neplese aloo raita
Ingredients serve :2
1 cup curd
100 ml water
1 medium size boiled potato, peeled and diced
1 medium size onion , thinly sliced
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp toasted sesame seed powder
1 tsp roasted zeera powder
1/2 tsp kasuri methi
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
1 tsp mustard oil
Method
Take big mixing bowl, add curd and water and beat it thoroughly. Add sesame seed powder , zeera powder , chilli powder , salt , pepper and mix well. Now add diced potato, onion , chopped coriander and mix well . keep it aside.
For tadka take a pan , heat mustard oil. Put kasuri methi and turmeric powder stir for 30 seconds.
Add this tadka to the bowl of potato and curd and mix with the help of spoon. You can have this Raita as a meal or with 1 chapati too.
